Poop and Food

My corn snake poops usually between 1-3 days after eating, and I avoid handling him until after that occurs since I have been pooped on before.

From what I read BPs poop less often? Should I just hope for the best when handling them?

If I'm thawing mice/rats in the fridge, how long can I leave them in the fridge before they go bad?

My BPs do poop less than my colubrids: it's normal. I wouldn't worry about them going when you handle them: I've never had a ball poop on me (though one did shoot out a urate and some pee, it was kinda funny and very epic).

I only thaw feeders over night in the fridge, I've never left them in there for more than a day or so. I personally wouldn't leave them in more than that: I would make sure you put them in some hot water before offering to make sure they're totally thawed before feeding.

BP go when they need to, depending on how much you feed or how little you feed it will affect the frequency.

It can take from a few days to a few weeks but they eventually go.

What you need to look for is a bulge near the cloaca if you see that I would avoid holding it.

Now if the bulge persist does not appear to go away that's another story.

Just be on the look out for "sausage butt" and you should be good

Do BPs require higher humidity than colubrids?

Generally yes. Then again, the Colubrid family is huuuge, and I know there are some that require much higher, but as far as like your kings and corns, yes, BP's need a little higher.

I have a 700g female that pees 2-3 times a week and poops exactly 5 days after a meal every time. Then I have a 400g male that I have had for only a month who has yet to poop. I keep giving him a warm baths like twice a week to try and get him to poop and still nothing yet. Every time I hold him I check his rear and nothing looks abnormal so I haven't worried about it yet. Then I have a hatchling girl about 100g who has pooped ON me twice. Seems to me like they all poop at different times and on their own schedule.
