    New Gecko :)
Well, I went to Repticon today with the intention of buying feeders for my snakes and with zero intention of bringing back any reptiles. However, I came home with no feeders and my first gecko! His name is Cuscus (he's not sexed yet...but I'm already referring to Cuscus as a "him" ).

Sorry for the crappy phone pictures! I got him all set up and then left him alone. No time to pull out the big camera. I have no idea what his "color mutation" is. I saw him. I liked him. I bought him xD He's just a pet.

Thanks! I really like him. He could probably be the lowest quality example of whatever color pattern he is, but I would still love him to pieces! As of now I have no intention of breeding him. He's just something for me to display in my reptile room (since everything else is in racks!). I really can't wait until he's big enough to sex. With my luck, my "he" will turn into a "she"!

Haha I love/hate relationship when it comes to going to shows. The last one we went to, I said " We're ONLY here for feeders". Needless to say, we came home with a rosehair lol. At least we remembered the feeders :)

Well...his cage is display worthy! I know they are nocturnal and prefer to hide, but I like how I have his cage set up and it's an eye catcher when you enter my reptile room. I'll be getting a bearded dragon eventually and he/she will also have a nice display. It's just something different than my snakes.

It wasn't that I forgot my feeders, I just forgot to bring the cooler! And since I live over an hour away from the show, I didn't want my feeders to thaw on the drive home. I'll just order some when I'm actually running low (I figured I would get a few more since I was there. I didn't really -need- them).

We currently have 2.1.1 so far. And looking for a few more! I got one but my sister "stole" it, then we got a girl from Nova Reptiles who first introduced us to them. Then we went to an expo.. Added a hatchling Dalmatian and an adult male extreme Harlequin. Lol, my sister "stole" them all! she does better with them right now, I am a little busy with my balls laying and keeping up with rats and mice. Lol, now we are looking to add a female harly, female red and a super dal.

You will love the personality that bearded dragons have. Its nice to have several different reptiles just to change things up a little.
We have the 5 cresties, 5 dragons, and I don't know how many frogs that belong to my wife.
We go through a ton of crickets every week or so.
