1st clutch lots of newbie questions
Hi everyone. My girl finally blessed me with 5 eggs on July 3. I got them into the incubator (hovabator) already. I've had the temp set up and holding at 89. My questions are:
    1) What should the humidity be at? (The eggs are in vermiculite) my Walmart temp/humidity gauge says is't at 63% with the probe placed under the eggs.

    2) Since I could not close the lid on the Tupperware container that the eggs are in without the lid pressing on the top egg (I didn't want to risk separating the eggs) I am using press and seal (like saran wrap) to help hold the humidity in. Should I move to a deeper tupperware container that will hold the eggs without physically touching the eggs?

Thank you everyone for helping a newbie out.

Temps are good keep them at 89° try n get your humidity up n I would move them in a shoebox size tub I can fit 9 in those so you should be able to get yours in easy you want humidity to fog up sidesof tub but not so much to form water on lid and drop on eggs that'll cause troubles

Thank you. I'll buy a new shoebox today. The problem isn't so much that they won't fit. The problem is they are stuck together in a stack (since she coiled up on them. One egg is sitting on top of the other four which makes it a bit tall. Hopefully the shoebox will be deep enough. Thank you again for the help.
