    Tanks/racks/cages?
I'm pretty new to BP's but I have noticed a trend on here...

It seems that most people favor racks/bins over "fish tank" style terrariums.

I could imagine that when housing multiple snakes, bins would be far easier, but with a single specimen, or even two or three, why would a bin be a "better" choice?

I like the naturalistic look in a display tank, and also like to see what my girl is up to and when she does certain things for example soaks, or basks, looks for a way out etc (IMO a great way to see if something is wrong early on or if she isn't happy about something).

Just curious if there is any other benefits besides ease of housing multiple snakes...

^^ Pretty much. Plus, much easier to clean, ohmygoodness! Far lighter, ease of moving it to wherever you need...

    What they said.
Keeping a tank is most definitely doable. Just not as simple and you have to work harder to keep the correct environment

Also less space requirement over tanks. You can fit 20 snakes in a rack system the size of a kingsize bed, try doing that with tanks. lol

I wish I could do a rack but its just not possible where I live because I cant heat one room. Its 70 in my house so a rack is out i still need heat lamps for now.
