Fresh Shed Fire and Pewter
Everyone's been shedding at the same time this week. Pierre, the fire had a bit of trouble on one spot near his tail, but otherwise everyone is bright and shiny, so I took some pics before my camera died. I'm still getting used to photographing snakes as they try to run off.
Penelope, my Pewter, is from NormanSnake. Fedex almost lost her in Tennessee, but she's safe and well now! Pierre and Penelope are hopefully going to be paired next year.

Thanks, really I just clicked about 150 photos each and went back later to find tongue flicks.

Its more of a general paleness along her dorsal. There are blotches inside the "stripe". About 2/3 of the way down it blends into a stripe. She really has different patterns and colors depending on what light you're looking at her in. :D
