In a month or two I'll get a real camera, but for now, enjoy these cell phone pictures. :P I put the picture from her ad at the bottom, as it's far better than mine

A beautiful example of a Pastave. I hope to hatch one out in a couple seasons.

Thank you for the kind words everyone; I'm very excited for her. :) She's a lot sassier than Zerok was on arrival; a lot more defensive, so I'm giving her some breathing room. She's lovely though.

I do have a question though; she was born in October 2012 and weighed in at a little less than 300g. Is that normal? My Bumble is 215-230 or so and was born in January- of course, I figured females grow slower than males, but that still seems awfully slow.

Our normals just turned 1 and they're sitting just under 300. As long as they don't look super skinny & aren't LOSING weight then they should be okay. Our 2 are SUCH picky eaters.

Yeah, she is thicker bodied than him though. I wonder if after that first year they have growth spurts?
The breeder told me he fed her rat pups; we have non in supply around here. I moved my bee from rat pups to mice (live and live) without a hitch; hope the same goes for her. I've never dealt with f/t and if I could avoid it that'd be awesome. :P
