    gravid??
So my buddy added a normal female @ 2005 grams to our collection. We got her about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I looked in her tub and though she was dead. Her head was sideways and belly up. I opened the tub and she moved. So I weighed her 2475g now. We have kept her by herself and the owner said she hasn't been with any males. Could she possibly have something going?

It's hard to tell from that picture but to me she doesn't look plump enough to be gravid. Was she fed recently to her laying like that? Sometimes they will lay like that after a big meal. Or she could be developing follicles. You can try palpating her to see if you can feel follicles.

And I went and checked her out today and she is in shed. Her eyes glazed a lil pink belly and dull colored.

I'm confused how she jumped up that much in weight in so little time. If she eats after this shed she's probably not gravid, but could become gravid in a few months. Really hard to say.
