    Is this a good T-stat?
I'm going to be building a rack for my adults in a few weeks, and originally I planned on buying a cheaper t-stat to use for a month or two, but this is managable.
Would this be a good t-stat to use? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Herpstat-ND-...item20d3d7013a

It's an older model, but a solid unit. It is much better than any of the cheap thermostats.

For a few dollars more you could get a new unit with more features:

The Herpstat intro and Herpstat intro + are excellent deals

Is it possible to keep them in their current enclosure for a few more months? I ask because if its not a must to move them into the rack, save for that couple months you planned to use the cheap tstat and buy a new t-stat. T-stat is the most important aspect of any enclosure, its not worth skimping on to move them into a rack sooner when you can wait.

I would not spend that much on such a old unit. Spend alittle more for a updated one with a warranty.

I too would save a couple more pennies for a brand new unit.
There are a couple good stats out there for about another $20 - $30.

I own an ND, and it is a great unit. but the price does seem high, I recall spending $100 on mine... so 85 seems too much to me.
