Just fed my baby for the time time. Now some questions!!
He took it pretty quick and after he had it swallowed, I had taken his hide out to wake him up, and I kinda had to nudge at him to move so I could get his hide back in, Will this cause any problems? he hasn't reguratated yet so.

Also, he seemed to go to his water bowl and drink quite a bit, is this normal? I know us as humans like something to drink with our meal.

After that, hes just sitting there, hasn't gone back to his hide, which I figured after a big meal, he would do so pretty quick.

I kind of thought he was star gazing which is signs of IBD but I think that's just me being a wee bit over paranoid :)

    Thanks for the help!

He'll be fine. A little nudge here or there after a meal shouldn't cause any problems. You're also one of the lucky few who can witness their snakes drink. I never see my ball python's drink. He sounds pretty normal, though. I wouldn't worry.

yeah it was pretty awesome, they barely open there mouths when they drink, but you can kinda see like our throats when we swallow :P

He has moved back to his hide (although on the cool side, I thought they usually went to the warm side after eating) but, so far so good.. been about an hour now and he hasn't spit it back up so :)

I'm quite the worry wart, this is my first real pet of my own (well, I had a corn snake I bought from petco that died a week ago today, that wouldn't ate or anything after having him for two weeks and the right temperatures and everything) so.. I'm really scared to see something go with with this little guy, but him eating made me really happy.

Gratz, sounds like a fun little guy. A few of mine like a drink with their meal as well : )
