Does anybody have a general price on the Black Pastels? I'd appreciate it so I know what I'm comparing to.

All the ones I've found so far were under $300, but I would rather get from somebody who is an active member on this forum, or somebody that comes highly recommended.
I HIGHLY recommend Mike Bell. I got my BP from him and I love it! She has never refused a meal and Mike is very knowledgeable and helpful.

I'm prepared to spend $300+ each when I pick up 2 Black Pastel girls for my Panda project. I love the black pastel gene but I'm so picky about them. The only girl I've seen that I liked a lot was, of course, sold before I could get to her. Super dark, small donut markings... I'm hoping for more black pastel girls to turn up soon for this season.

The only way I would pay $300+ for a Black Paste it would have to be het and I honestly don't want to deal with any hets. I just want a certain look of Black Pastel mainly out of my preference.

When you have some I will definitely be interested. My two things are it has to be female and then the next I'm going to be picky because of what I'm looking for.
The ones that I've found that I like the most because of how dark are: This one from Justin Kobylka. Though he no longer has any of them most people I've talked to are waiting on eggs.

for your panda project you need blackpastel issue from a pure black super form. Don t really judge the little one itself but refer to the quality of the super blackpastel parent. you may spend more than 300$ for each but your panda project will have more chance to end badly. Some super dark blackpastel doesnt make perfect black super. Again what is 200$ more for a 5/7 years project???

No but I've seen awesome Black Pastels for less than $300. In fact I found a beautiful male I can get that is a '12 for $150 shipped. Yea you pay for quality, but at the same time some people do tend to price stuff a higher. You can get a very nice pastel for $75ish. Yet some people will try to sell a Pastel that isn't het for anything for $150+. Some people tend to price stuff at what they think it's worth, I've seen it done especially when I used to deal with scorpions on a large scale. Adult scorpions that should be $20 were being pried at $45+ by certain people, but I won't mention any names.
