    hi guys, leopard question
i just buy a 2012 leopard spotnose male and this guy is already 700 gr and ready for my ladies.

my question is about the genetic of het for inc dom pied , is it linked to leopard on a close locus or is the super leopard a superpied??

i m not here to debate on recissive or inc dom stuff, i know here it s a big deal. for me it s not. but i still don t have a strong opinion on the leopard gene.
can some advanced hobbist or professional explain it to me?

Sorry for my poor english, im not a native speaker

    hi guys, leopard question
Leopards are a visual het pied. That's the simplest way to think about it. Any Leo is het pied.

So far every single Leopard that has been tested has been proven to be het Pied and the homozygous Leopard is a Pied.

Some people will say that Leopard and Pied are "linked" (like NERD's Hidden Gene Woma and Granite) and others believe that Leopard is a Very visual het Pied.

thank you for your knowledge... So the value of a pied made of 2 leo should be more money than a common pied or a 50/50 one right since the visual effect is much more spectacular with the leopard

    I would say yes

I think it's a different allele on the same locus, not linked or anything, lesser to Mojave is like het pied to leopard.
