    Heating question
    I am soon to be a first time corn snake owner and just had a quick question on heating;
    Is it okay to use both a heat lamp and a heat pad for the hotspot or should you just be using one of the two? Also, if you use both would it be best to put the heat lamp on a 12 hour cycle to stimulate night/day?
    Thank you very much ;D

    Using both would be overkilled IMO, keep in mind that most colubrid and corn in particular do not need that high of a hot spot 82/84 degrees is more than enough.

    Heating question
    I have my corn snake in a 20 gallon with a 50 watt night bulb on one side that is on all the time, and 75 watt day bulb on for 10 hours. He couldn't get happier , never had one problem with him.
