Lol I was just talking about soaking yesterday and wake up to find her soaking in her waterbowl ^_^ Does this mean she is going to shed? She doesn't LOOK like shes going to shed yet, no cloudy eyes or anything.

Yeah ^_^ Especially yesterday was AWFUL, 93% humidity outside with a dewpoint of 65. It was just terrible. I'm sure she just took a little swim last night to beat the sticky weather.

Told you she'd soak if she wanted to. Could be about to shed or just wanted to cool off (of course there's the dreaded reason: mites). I wouldn't worry. That's so cute!

snakes soak when they need it :)
Ive noticed that Colubrids tend to soak a bit more than others...
Double check to make sure she doesnt have any mites. If something is irritating them they soak to relieve the itch/pain.
Im sure she is fine though..
I could go for a swim myself! its been hot lately...

She doesn't have mites. I was holding her and examining her for 15min today an didn't see anything.

However, if I find her soaking again should I be worried? o_O

nah, I wouldnt be worried. How are your temps? She could just be cooling off.

My temps are 89-93 on the hotside and around 83 on the coldside. She spents time on both sides.

Again I'm pretty sure she was soaking to bear the sticky humid weather yesterday. It was just horrible horrible horrible.
