I won't give off any details until after a good bit of people have guessed, I'm just curious to see who can guess or how many people it takes until somebody guesses right. You can guess and then ask a question, or ask a question first but I'm going to be very reclusive when answering as to not give it away.

Doesn't the snake look so innocent, a shy one.

I was going to answer but I don't want to end it with the first response. The red tape and the snakes in the background are good "hints".

I'm not very good at identifying hots, much less "morphs" (albino, leucistic, etc.)

    White mamba? 😁

Damn, man, really? Well I guess it only took one guess. It's an Albino Monocled Cobra.

Now, what I'm curious about is how on earth did you guess it that quickly? I'm assuming you know since the black net thingy is over it you knew it was venomous, and if that didn't give it away you may of been able to distinguish the rattlesnake in the background(though I thought it was to blurry?). So how?

Sorry, I tried to change my answer so it would be more fun for you.

The red tape and the rattlesnake helped.

haha. I was gonna be the first one to guess and take a stab at albino cobra as well. :shakes head at self:

I came to the conclusion by:

    1. Obviously with the red lid and rattler in the background, one would automatically think "hot". Especially if they've been to a reptile show that has hots. IMO.

    2. Not a rattler or viper judging by size, head shape, and look of a kingsnake.

    3. If you look close enough, there is a bit of "extra" at the bottom near the head squeezed against the container.

It's okay. You won fair and square, so be happy, lol. This was my first venomous show so I didn't know about the red tape.

Gratz on your first show. They are fun. I've only been to 3. I want to get to a "local" out of state one soon. I should be able to make the 1 1/2 hour trip to Maryland coming up. Stoked. :D

Well the shows I used to attend were in New Orleans at the Alario Center hosted by Gila Productions. The new shows are in Gonzales and I guess they don't have restrictions on venomous like the other ones did, not sure if it was because of the location or the show, because the new shows are now ran by Repticon. I almost bought that cobra, but I didn't want to go through the whole ordeal of having to obtain a venomous permit then having to do all the required stuff so in the end I didn't get it. I also will not get a cobra as my first venomous snake, though I don't really like any other venomous so I'd be stuck with something I don't really like then I'd have to find it a home once I get accustomed to dealing with venomous and it's not something I would really want to do. Plus if I do end up getting married, I don't want to put my future wife in that kind of danger.
