My black cat Kit

I have a cat, her name is jewel. She is a beautiful tortoise shell cat, and a mommy kitty. Two we gave to a friend 1 we kept and it died, and the other got too dominant and we had to get him away. This is for the one that died. Kit. for some reason all of her cats were solid gray, and kit was the black sheep , being all black. He was an energetic butterball ( he was fat). He would always follow me, and snuggle me. I let all my cats have free range so they can have true freedom , I don't believe in declawing, and they always come back. But a risk of that is they may not come back but die happy not being cooped up. Everyone said to name him salem, or blacky, or shadow, and I said thats unoriginal so I named him kit after the car from night rider. Now currently I am sitting her with the mommy kitty, she's sprawlled over my forearm between my elbow sitting as if she is a little person, watching indiana jones and the temple of doom with me, purring. Good bye kit, I knew thee well.
