    First LOCK of the Year!!
Hey ya'll, I'm pretty excited because I have had an issue with my males this year because they won't lock with anything. So i just got a Chocolate Pastel Male a couple weeks ago and let him get settled and and q/T. I just put him in with my breeder female and witnessed the first lock :D
I will try to get pics to post but I didn't want to interrupt them this early on

No offense but a couple of weeks for q/t isn't enough. Mind as well not even do it. We keep our q/t snakes in a different room for at LEAST 4 months.
But, congratulations on the lock :)!! Hope you get some awesome choco pastels!

    At least you tried. :P;)

OP, congrats! Those are gonna be some exciting babies. :D But he's right, ^^ your QT, to be even somewhat effective, should be a few months at least. I'm one to talk, though, I've been known to do similar things in the past. All the best to you and your breeding projects! ^_^

No problem, I'm always open to advice. I have never had any problems with my quarantine process but it's always better to be safe than sorry :) thanks ya'll, I'm interested to see what some chocolate pewters might look like ;)
