    Blood spotting from vent-- WORRIED!
Magnus finished his shed this morning, and it was lovely-- smooth, in one piece, and completely in a ball. I unrolled it a bit to make sure he had no trouble, and I noticed that there were some trace amounts of blood around the vent area of the shed. I tried not to think too much of it, but I just took him out for handling and found a little more spotting his paper towels where he was laying. I'm worried. The only thing I can think of is that I was practicing popping a bit last week and maybe I accidentally ruptured a blood vessel or something? His stool is normal, he passed one three days ago and it looked like it always does.

That's normal right after a shed. Everything will be fine.

Thank you for easing my mind, I've never seen it before. My heart won't stop next time B)

Mine will occasionally do that after a shed as well as after locking up. It's nothing to worry about.
