    How long does it rake a human heat pad to fully heat up. Because I left it on low for a while and its only warm? Is this unusual? Or did I not leave it long enough. And no, I do not have the temp so for all I know it could be the right heat, it just feels a bit cooler than I expected.

    How long
    well depends on a few factors, where the probe determining the heat is, the amount of substrate if it is on top and the type of heating pad.. I would say that if you leave it on for an hour solid it's safe to say it has reached it's max temp.

    Ok than, I guess I was just being impatient. and by the way I don't have my thermo yet.

    tough to really judge if you don't have a good digital thermo. A lot of times what feels right to us is either too hot or too cold for our snakes. You really just hafta wait til ya get the thermo to know for sure.

    Like JJ said too, it does definately depend on the type of heating pad. Once you get your thermo, you'll have a much gooder idea! :P
