I was wondering if anyone can give me a ball park as to what I should be paying if I were to purchase one of the following female 2013 hatchlings

    Fire $ ?

    Fire yellowbelly $ ?

    Vanilla yellowbelly $ ?

I am looking to get another female to raise up and start a very small breeding project and these are three that I might look at.

I just don't want to overpay or get taken advantage of since I am really new to the game.

    Thanks

I would say about $200-400 for the female fire depending on quality, around $1000 for the fire yellow belly, and around the same for the vanilla YB. Just my best guess based on lots of browsing on KS :)

Great female ideas I might add! I love all of these morphs!

Fire: 300-400 (as was stated before quality dependent)

    Fire YB: 1000

    Van YB: 1000-1200

I saw a Disco YB for sale, I think for 1700, but it is a much more rare combo.

Prices are off the top of my head. I suggest haunting KS and Fauna for current pricing.

I hate how fires are so expensive. I did see a 2012 fire girl recently for 375 but the same person is asking 100 for males. So, I'm more inclined to pay closer to 200 for 2013 girls.

I only paid $250shipped for my girl. And she was already 150-200g.

I do know Firestorm is doing a vanilla X fire pairing, you may hit them up like mike suggests. ;)

I would not call that an awesome example, it's ok, but I'd pass personally.

OP, Look for one that looks like this:

This is my Fire YB, and frankly I consider him the best one I have ever seen (folks can argue, but I will not listen :P). He was $900 in 2011 from Mark Petros. In person, the yellows/oranges on him are crazy. The combo has kept price well because awesome examples are harder to come by (breeders keep them, or they rarely see the market), and it is still fairly rare in general. Also, it really has to be one of the most powerful 2 gene snakes out there for breeding.

As for 2013 Fire females, this girl was $250, but I would have paid more. Quality deserves a bump in price.

My point here, is shop the animal. You may have to pay a grand for a super nice Fire YB female, and she will be worth every penny. Or you may get lucky and find a better price. Either way, shop the animal.
