    Bowl wrapping after Ovy
    So I have a question....

I noticed my female bowl wrapping even after ovulation.... Ovy was on May 22 and she shed Jun 9th, I noticed her bowl wrapping for the past 2 days, doesn't this seem like unusual behaviour.

Be advised I live in Barbados, I provide no heating since Barbados weather is generally warm and sunny all year round with an average daytime high of 86°F and average low of 74°F.

I have witnessed bowl wrapping even outside of the breeding season so I am sure it happens. I would not be concerned.

Thanks I'll just monitor her, she's been hiding out in her hide alot as well, but I guess thats normal so I won't bother her, I estimate laying on July 8 or 9.

    Bowl wrapping after Ovy
I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. They all have their quirks, I have girls who fool me every year because they eat consistently while they're gravid. I guess they didn't read the care sheets...

I always give my snakes a nice bath after they lay and make sure to thoroughly clean out their cage. they will useually eat in two days and will continue to wrap the bowl for a week or two.
