    Feeding funnies Question
How many of your BP's will not eat White rat's ??

My normal will never touch a white rat, but heat up a grey, black or brown rat and he's all over it

My lesser it's touch and go, sometimes he ignores the white one sometimes he takes it.

Last stretch they went was 3 weeks all I could find was white rats.

I specifically order black or grey but sometimes chunks happen...

Looks like you got your self one of them racist snakes lol. None of mine care about color, however my pin and butter eat live only and my lesser requires exposed brain matter for a good feeding response. Its very interesting the preferences some of them have.

None of my snakes seem to care what color their food is. I just know they eat more reliably at night when the snake room is nice and dark.

Mine don't seem to care either. Although, I've never switched up when one didn't take food. I might try that next time.

Have you tried feeding them in the dark? They can hunt with their heat pits and sense of smell. Just thought it'd be interesting if you got them to grab it and start swallowing then turn on the light and they realize it's white.

It's always dark when feeding, maybe it's me but just seems strange... just sucks when they won't eat and I can't get dark color rats

Mine do not seem to have a preference, however, if I have to pick one up from the pet store they always ask me "does it matter what color". So others must have snakes with color preference too

None of our BP's seem to care about color, however, we have a large Blood Python that will only eat light brown or white rats. I have yet to figure out why. If we put any other color in his enclosure, he will not even remotely act interested. Weird!
