    pregnant shipping
My buddy apparently found a normal female confirmed pregnant from a spinner blast for sale and is willing to ship it to him. Is it bad idea? I don't know how much I believe it.

I would say so. You want to leave gravid females alone as much as possible and you def dont want to create that kind of stress on an already taxed female carrying eggs. Also, who would sell and ship a female gravid by a spinner blast, doesnt make any sense.

It sounds too good to be true.

Unless he is certain there is a good reason why someone wouldn't wait the extra month to get the eggs then sell the female as a proven breeder.

I'd research the seller on fauna.

It isn't a great idea. If the female is really gravid, the added stress of shipping could endanger her, or the eggs.

As others have mentioned, it also sounds a lot like an okey doke sale.

Gravid females are shipped from africa every year but I still wouldn't think it's a good idea. The better question is why is the breeder willing to sell the gravid female? If it's the one that was listed for 200 bucks the seller told me he saw 4 locks but no confirmed ovulation.
