Press n seal or not

OK I'm on a smart phone so 8m not doing an official poll but I want to know who all uses press n seal.

1.1 pastels, 1.0 lesser, 0.1 het blurry, 0.1 spider, 1.1 norm. 0.1 dinker,

Never used it. Never had any problems.

No holes. Just a small slit to slide the probe wires through. I use rubbermaid tubs that seal pretty well so that's probably why I've never had to do the press-n-seal thing...

I will be using press-n-seal because the tubs I use have air flow and do not have locking lids. If you have locking lids, you may not need it.

Well darn I hope Im not messing up I used grating with a lot of water do y'all get a slits dimpling at the first week ?

I usually don't get the dimpling until the last couple of weeks of incubation. Have any pics of the eggs?

I use the same method and my eggs start to dimple the last week of incubation.

Its not bad just slight but I just put press n seal on the tub Im Just worried because with so much water I don't want condensation to drip on them and if I tilt it water might get on them

My girl JUST ovulated this morning so I won't be getting eggs for a bit. However, I plan on tilting my egg box just slightly. I am going to be putting one end of the box resting on a thin jewel case (those skinny CD cases) which will allow the water to slide down the press-n-seal and not drip on the eggs.

Wouldn't it just be easier to spend 2 bucks on an egg tub that seals without the need for press-n-seal? No need for the press-n-seal, no need to worry about water dripping, no need to worry about tilting the egg boxes. It's stressful enough watching the eggs sitting there for 56 days...why add to that stress?

I see these threads pop up every year and I can't help but wonder why people make it so difficult. Mixing all kinds of substrates, cutting up light diffusers, sealing up egg boxes (and then drilling air holes :confusd:), etc...

Rubbermaid egg box + a little Hatchrite = no worries...:D
