Should I get a ceramic heater?
I know it's best to use a tub and heat the room, but I just have a few snakes and it's not worth it, I keep them in 20g tanks.

I use the zoomed infrared light bulbs http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A2701FG002WN6Z
But they just go out too frequently, the barely last a month or two. I found them a bit cheaper online than in the pet store, but I'm wondering if anyone knows a good ceramic heater, I'm thinking it might be much more durable? I just don't want it to emit regular bright light since it's on at night too for the snakes. Thanks.

I have a ZooMed 100 watt che on 24/7 at full power. It has been on for a year now without a issue. I use the write cage fixture with it.

I also have a Zoomed CHE. It's 60 watts though. It depends on your temperatures as to the watts. I bought it when the weather got cold, maybe November. CHE have no visible light. I bought mine from reptile supply, but I see reptile basics also have it.
