Been Searching For The Perfect GTP. Well I Found It!
Meet Magma. Not sure if it is a male or female yet, but I don't care, I had to have him/her. He/She is perfect in my eyes. Won him/her on one of Ben Siegels auctions last night. He/She should be here soon. Can't wait!

Pretty sure I will be going with a 36" wide 24" tall cage from PVC Cages for this guy/gal when it gets big enough but any other cage manufacturer recommendations are appreciated.

Oh! I saw last night that they were going to have a GTP on their auctions. Very cool you got it.

For me, it is a combination of the way the parents look, and the markings on the baby. I like the parents to have a good bit of blue and the baby to have a busy pattern. I also consider temperament and local of the parents. From what Ben was saying about the parents, they sounded pretty docile, and the baby seems pretty calm too.

She does look like she may be getting close to a shed in that pic but the blues towards her lower half is what I loved about her. The blues should be even brighter after she sheds. If you don't think you would like them then I would steer clear of them. They have higher than average care requirements and are known to be temperamental, so if the passion is not there for them then the time and care you have to put in may end up feeling like a chore.
