BP Eating Habits

My baby ball python has been on a feeding schedule where he is eating one frozen fuzzy every Tuesday and Friday and I haven't had any problems getting him to eat. Last week I moved him into a new terrarium that is a little big bigger than his previous one. On Tuesday he ate just fine without any fuss but he didn't eat on Friday. I'm wondering if I should stick to his feeding schedule and not try to feed him again until next Tuesday or if I should try feeding him again today?

It probably won't hurt to wait, best not to stress him out. I recommend you feed him once every five days or so until he's around 500g, that's the common thing to do at least.

x2. Don't offer again until his next feeding day. What are your temps and humidity like? Does he have adequate shelter now that you upgraded his enclosure size? He might need more hides or more clutter, especially if he's little.

His humidity stays around 30% give or take 4-5% fluctuations throughout the day. And his temperature stays between 86-90F on the hot side and 82-86F on the cool side during the day and then drops to about 80-84F on the hot side and 75-80F on the cool side at night. He has one adequate hide but he never goes into it, instead he chooses to spend a lot of his hiding time curled up behind a fake plant that is in the back corner of his enclosure. And Thank you both, I will wait until the next feeding day and then try to get him on a schedule of eating every 5 days.

If he continues to refuse a few meals in a row I would look at your temps and humidity. Did they change from the original set up or are they the same. To me the day hot side is ok a little more variation than I'd like to see but that range is ok. The cool side is a also ok but a touch warm. The night temps I would suggest holding the same as the day temp there is no need to drop them. It looks like you have variable room temps that are effecting the temps. If your snake is not feeding regularly again soon it will likely need to be addressed.

I would try giving him another hide so he has one on the warm side and one on the cool side.
