Tubs, how big is too big?
I know there is such a thing as too big for ball python tubs. I found these tubs that are about same width as CB-70s, same height, but 10 - 15cm longer. They are very cheap. I wonder if they would be too big?
Re: Tubs, how big is too big?
How big of a ball are we talking? I personally don't agree with the "snakes get stressed in big enclosures" mentality. Ive got a 800 gram ball in a AP t8 (48x24x12) and she eats like a champ, sleeps during the day, roams alittle at night and is very calm. So I doubt the extra 5-6 inches will matter. if anything I bet it would be appreciated.

I have to agree with this.
Snakes normally live outside which is far bigger than any tub.
What they do need is the ability to thermo-regulate and for retiring species like Balls adequate hiding spots. In a tub I'n not sure how this will affect the snake keeper but, in a vivarium or display enclosure it could mean more work for the owner. Balls aren't really what I think of when someone mentions a display snake though.

What are they? With adult females the size of the tub isn't the only issue. You also don't want one that's flimsy and will crack easily.
