How do I post a photo of my carpet and corn from my iPhone

Or host it to a site like Imgur.com, photobucket.com or something similar. Most of those type of sites, where once the photo is uploaded and you view it, it has the different type of codes premade for you to just post on forums.

I had the same question when I joined. Just download the PhotoBucket app and upload the pictures you want to put in your post. Then click on the little info "I" in the bottom right corner and it should have a direct link. Copy that link and paste it in your post and it will pop up when you post your pictures :)
