Renovated Reptile Room - Pic Heavy!
Alright, short background and then to the good stuff. We rehabbed a pair of raccoons that were orphaned over the last 8 months or so. They got the reptile room during that time. After release, I decided to renovate it (ok, the holes in the walls NEEDED fixing) completely before reinstalling my collection. New paint, ceiling fan, and tore up the carpet (still not sure what I'm putting down so excuse the subfloor), plus some new gadgets. This room is heated staying approximately 79-82 degrees. I built a new adult rack for the BP's and my Russian tortoise got herself an estate on the other side away from the snakes. I need to finish running the lines from my Herpstat 4 to the hatchling rack (it's on one of my Hydrofarm t-stats right now), put together a new rack for male BP's, and then pull in my adult corn rack.
BEFORE: If you ever consider getting a raccoon as a pet, these should dissuade you.

Henry's Estate: Still a work in progress. There will be 'bridges' between the tubs and different plants in each for her.

Looks like you did a good job of fixing it up though. :gj:
Thanks and yes, they did that and more... Raccoons are toddlers with 4 hands, sharp claws, strong jaws, and insatiable curiosity. They like to touch, tear, and chew on everything. It was worth it though to see them scamper off into the wild. :)
It's my favorite room because it's the only one I'm comfortable in. My hubby always says I'm as much a reptile as those I keep.
