what do you use for bedding?
Right now i am using paper towels for my bedding but alot of my pythons knock over/spill their water daily. It can get pretty expensive to buy paper towels that much so i was wondering what you guys use..? I've heard that cypress mulch is ok.. does anyone have any experience with it? How often does it need replaced? They are in rack systems if it matters...
If you know of something better/cleaner.. i would appreciate any insight!
    Thanks!

What kind of bowls are you using? I was using small crocks and waters got spilt ALL the time. I switched to ceramic dog bowls and now they can't flip them over (or haven't flipped them yet).

As for your bedding question, I use printed newspaper (it's free). I buy cypress mulch from Lowes and put that in my tubs when snakes are shedding.

I know some people use the aspen bedding, but I don't know if I would really use it for my BP. I use it for snakes that like to burrow because it holds their tunnels well.

In my T8 I use corrugated wrap. In my glass enclosure, I use Eco-Earth to assist with humidity. All my water dishes are the same, similar to this: http://www.vitacost.com/ethical-pet-...crock-dog-dish

Paper towels, I hate wood bedding for ball pythons.
Heavy crocks and ceramic dog bowls work great.

Newspaper and the heavy ceramic dog dishes from Dollar Tree. The only way they get water all over is if they sit in the dish. I get newspaper for free.

paper towels here too, once in a while thy will get part of the towel in the water bowl and it will "wick" out all the water.
