    Is it normal to see a snake breathing? I don't remember noticing it so much until today ... Now I'm worried about RI :(

    Is it young? Or stressed out? I have noticed that some new arrivals when they are young and nervous, you can see the breathing.

    Snakes will typically breath a little faster when they're nervous. Wouldn't you breath a little harder if you had some giant predator standing over you? :D

    yeah, I sometimes see mine breathe if I pick them up too quickly, and when they're in feeding mode. It's usually because they're scared or worked up, just like us humans :)

    My 0.1 RTB has been coiled up relaxing on top of her hide for several hours. I can see her take a very deep breath once every 12-15 seconds.
