    Genetic (full) stripe heritability
Is a full stripe on a g-stripe heritable? In other words, if two full striped g-stripes are bred together will their offspring also be fully striped or is it just hit-or-miss?

I think it might be at least partially influenced by environment.

I know a guy who has a pretty nice pair of genetic stripes. The first year he bred them the entire clutch came out so bad you could hardly tell they where stripes. The next year the same pair produced a clutch of all nice stripes like the parents. I think he said incubation went long with the first clutch so I asked if people had experimented with different incubation temps to get better stripes and a big breeder who works with stripes said he tried that and that it didn't matter so I'm not sure what it could be.
