My breeding hopes are dashed. And hubby owes me a female albino!

So when me n my husband were first dating, we did a breeding loan. His male albino, my het female. Well, two female albinos were produced, he told me. And he told me i could have both of them in exchange for mom. I was stoked..two albino females! And the previous year i produced an albino male. I named one Mikeeto and one Micah. I later traded Micah n some cash for an ivory.Fast forward to a few days ago. Im still honing my popping skills on all ages thanks to my buddy Joe at Balls Deep reptiles teaching me(great guy btw!) I want to be totally comfortable n proficient at it, since im already proficient at probing. Well...i get to Mikeeto...She is a MALE!!! So upset! I was going to breed her this fall! All that time wasted raising "her" up! And to top it off, the "male" pied he produced last year is a female! I wanted to slap him. :fishslap: I trusted he knew what he was doing. Well, as the old adage goes, you want something done right, you gotta do it your flippin self! I told hom he owes me a female albino. Better yet, Ill take a female toffino :D

Man....that stinks..but I have to laugh a little after reading that one! :P

At least a male albino has some value! A friend of mine raised a normal "female" for 4 years before realizing it was a male... now THAT sucks...

yeah, its funny but its not. Im still seething with anger over it. Mikeeto still has some sentimental value to me, so Im demoting him to my "education/display animal" spot. And as far as his name goes, im keepin it. Ill just call him "Mikee"lol
