Ok, I know I could have gone and made the DIY humidifier...but I got lazy and had a few bucks to spend. So I got this thing called a Tropical Air Exchange right before Amber went into shed.

The air pump hooks up to the water container, goes through and airstone, and out into a delivery tube that sits inside the enclosure. Kept my humidity at a perfect 75% the whole time she was in shed. Not to mention, its continuous fresh air, as opposed to just misting and covering. This is definitly a good way to solve the glass tank/no humidity issue.

And here's what I got in return:

I suppose this could serve as a review for that particular product. I got it from reptile direct, altogether it cost about 24 bucks after shipping.

Nice - can still see the pattern on that sucker - must be moist!

Actually it was completely dried out in that pic. I still have it, and you can still see the pattern. It was wierd how I found it though....it was literally all rolled up, similar to how a condom is when you first open it. I unrolled it, and ended up with that. Very wierd how she did that all in her hide.

Funny how people look at a rolled up shed and see different things. It makes me think of my mother's knee-high hose. Congrats on a perfect shed!

Congrats on a perfect shed! That means you're doing some pretty great husbandry!! Where did you buy that tropical air exchange? Just curious as my future addition may need some added humidity especially in winter.

Whoa, Ippo's eyes were blue a few days ago and I'd been waiting for him to shed. After I read this thread though, I decided to look in his hide and there it was, all rolled up like you described!!!

So Ippo has now had his first shed, and it came out all nicely in one piece =)

The hammer was when I was threatening Amber to shed in one piece or else!

Actually I just had it laying around because I was hanging up some pictures, and I thought I'd include it in the pic to give you all a size reference.
