What size prey should a BP that weighs 177g be eating?
My snake weighs 177 grams. He has been eating two hoppers once a week (and I usually alternate one week two and the next one) but I just went up a size to mice weighing 19 grams. Do you guys go by the 10% of body weight rule or 15%? 10% would mean the mouse is somewhere around 17 grams and 15% is somewhere around 26 I think? These numbers aren't anywhere close to one another so opinions would be appreciated!

My bad, I was thinking you meant twice a week as in every like 3 days

Twice a week is fine for babies

I would feed a rat pup no wider than the widest part of the snakes body every 3-4 days. Once your snake reaches about 300 grams you can slow it down to about every 5 days. Once mine hit about 700-800 grams they get fed every 7 days.
