rat feed questions???

so im planing on starting a small rat colony 4 to 1.
im planing on ordering a 50# bag mazuri how long would that last???

i do plan on having 3, 4 to 1 colonies eventually what would the best and most inexpensive bedding be?
any hits on getting thing going. thanks.

For one 4.1 colony is backwards. You would want 1.4 1 male to 4 females. A 50lb bag of food would last you a good while.

My colony of 6.18 plus babies goes through a 50lb in about a month.

I feed my asfs Iams sensitive naturals Dog food. Currently I have three 1.3-1.4 colonies,plus a growout for the babies and I go through 5lbs of food every month or so.

im not 100% sure how i want to keep them yet ca you guys post some pics of your set ups
