has anyone ever seen grey patches on a pied before?

That's so cool! I actually think yours has a paradox thing going on.

Mines certainly has that on her neck tho I dont have any pics of the area, I believe that's a typical thing for pieds to have grey chins/necks. I've seen it on more than one

I took a couple quick pics. My girl is very easily stressed out and wasn't really enjoying me trying to get a shot of her neck.:P

Mine got that as he aged... Trust me, i freaked the first time i noticed it!

My male has that on his neck/chin as well.

Common Pied trait. All 4 of mine have grey around their neck on the underside mostly. It gets more noticable with age.
