Any ideas on the heat? I'm thinking 2 6" tgh 54" long. It has to be the cold part of the house (won't fit down the hall).

I can get 2 12" tgh strips on the back wall. Should I do each 54" long?

I would do the 12 inch heat tape for the full length of the back plus some to cover the bottom too. You could put the probe somewhere in the middle and add some water bottles at the bottom as a thermal mass to stabilize the heat more.
