    Facebook Warning: Panda Pied scam!
I'm not sure how many of you have heard about this, and you're all most likely intuitive enough to not fall for it, but there's someone on Facebook trying to scam out a Panda Pied with the following sob story:

"my son who was the rightful owner of this panda pied passed away and we are giving out this panda for adoption
its a sad case knowing how he spent sleepless night and hardworking days to make up 16k and purchased this animal
only for him to die 8 days after
now we the parrents are unable and lack the expeirence to keep this animal
if its interest you please email us at timatherton27@yahoo.com or text us at (682) 628-6628
the adoption fee is affordable and we do payment plans on that
    thanks"

They're asking 3700 for this 16,000-dollar snake, and once you complete your payment plan you never hear from them again. Just something to think about, Stay aware folks!

Did they provide pics of said animal?? I mean, pics are worth a thousands words...or, in this case $3700:rolleyes: And $3700 is NOT an adoption fee. On a side note, Are panda pieds really going for $16K right now?

They provided one (professional) picture. Hah.

That's at least what the scammers claim their son raised to purchase the animal.

Yea that story is a common variation that is used all over the internet.

Always stay away from ads that have poor spelling and grammar.

Folks, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The same scam plays out all the time with cars, guns, and other big-ticket items.
And I don't know about the rest of you, but if I have $16k available for a snake, I can sure afford a plane ticket to go see it first.

Definitely. Offer to pay them in person and see how fast they try to persuade you otherwise.

Yea, scams are sad. I'd offer to work out a payment plan and ask for an address to send the money to, then I'd go to the house and I'd work out a jaw plan with my fist, but that's just me. People need to get a life and stop trying to rip people off, and I hope nobody falls for this, but undoubtedly somebody will.

Lol its impossible for it to be a Panda.
There have only been 3 produce ever so far.
1 of which was sold and later died.
The other 2 on the other hand... is a male and a female and I see them both 3 times a week lmao
My boss produced the 2 that are still alive and his best friend produced the other one that was sold and later died.
If anyone knows who produced them then they will know who my boss is :P
