    Rack System Question
With my growing collection, I'm quickly realizing that I am quickly running out of room. I've looked at some rack systems, like on LLL and Reptile Basics, but can't really find any that I like. I like the design of the ones from Reptile Basics: http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-mc...k-wide-version, but think that the tubs would be too small for adult Balls. So for you guys at home who use rack systems, where did you get them? Or did you build them yourself?

There's a couple subforums here that could probably help you out a lot.

Here is a caging forum: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/forum...8-Caging-Forum

and a Do-it-yourself forum if you decide to go that way: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/forum...?125-DIY-Forum

There's tons of threads about making your own racks on the cheap.

The rack that you linked is for BPs that are roughly under 700g. If you want a rack large enough for adults, then you need a CB-70 or 41qt. sterlite rack:

    http://www.cserpents.com/C_Serpents/V-70.html
    http://www.boaphileplastics.com/rhin...ball_room.html

Reptile Basics and C-Serpents usually have pre-made racks they can ship to you immediately. Boaphile racks typically have a 6 week lead time. They use Sterilite tubs which are less desirable than CB-70 tubs. However, they come with 2 rows of 4" flexwatt vs. 1 row in the Reptile Basics and C-Serpents. C-Serpents will install an extra row for an extra charge. Last time i checked, Reptile Basics doesn't offer that option. I prefer 2 rows of flexwatt, but your needs may differ based on your heating setup.

I also have an Animal Plastic rack, but i prefer the above 3 models because they come pre-assembled and with tubs.

    Rack System Question
The best tubs in terms of quality, IMO, are the V-70 tubs made by Vision. They are the same size as the CB-70, but heavy plastic. We house all our adults females in V-70 tubs. We have some Vision Racks, a homemade one, and one from CSerpents. Vision and CSerpents are both pretty economical and fairly quick, in my experience.

I love our CSerpents rack. We actually got it second-hand but ti's still great. Very well put together and once we scrape up the funds/snakes and once our new homemade rack is full I'll probably start angling for another one from CSerpents. I can't stand lead times so I would never order a rack I had to wait 6+ weeks for.

i am using Animal Plastic racks, Iris330(15) for hatchlings, Iris375(12) for grow out and juvi/sub adult, and Iris900(10) for big ones.
