LA Museum of Natural History/Annual Bug Fair
I went to the annual bug fair this past weekend and took a lot of pics from both the fair and the museum itself. I had limited time so I kinda just took pics of everything as much as I could. I would've gotten more pics of all the stuff involving the bug fair but a lot of times there were people swarmed in one area and getting pics was difficult. Link is to my FB album and it's public so anyone with a FB account can see it.

Here's what I picked up at the fair:

    African Red Trapdoor spider(Gorgyrella sp.)

    Tanzanian Blue-Legged Centipede(Ethmostigmus trigonopodus)

    Desert Hairy Scorpion(Hadrurus arizonensis)

Brazilian Red and White tarantula(Nhandu Chromatus) sling

Trapdoors are amazing, especially if it's built it's trap, but if you provided a hide of some sort it may not of.

well i gave it a couple of sticks and some leaves aside from 6" of eco-earth and so far it's just made a small hole and sits there so idk if it will actually make a burrow or if it has to get comfortable first. i hope it does make a trap.

Go on YouTube and search for: Red Trapdoor Spider

It should be by SpyderMacFly. I seen that video a few years back and I always wanted one, but I never got one.
