The typical python body bump that canceled the pick up "MAY" have taught that animal the keeper is scared.. A pick up should not be aborted.. I would have continued with the pick up and likely had a enjoyable handling experience.. Exhibit no fear..

I did and she nailed me pretty badly. I usually don't facilitate that behavior, but did for this video. Her attitude has improved a touch since she shed, and I can have her out for a few minutes. I find the quicker I get her out of her tub the less time she has to throw a fit and get defensive.
