I have read that you are supposed to clean everything inside your tank before you put a snake in there. I have already cleaned my substrate but I'm not quite sure how to clean the rest of the objects.

I have 2 plastic flowerpot bases as hides *couldnt find a tall enough clay one, they were less then 1" high so I got plastic ones that are almost 2"*

I have a plastic water bowl.

I have a piece of "natures cork" from the petstore. Sort of like an extra hide/climbing spot in the middle/

And I have the inside of my tub, the walls to be specific.

What would be the best way to clean each of these?

    Wow thank you Smynx ^_^

It looks to me like Virosan is a pretty good choice for cleaning and disenfecting or should I use a combination of Virosan for the cleaning part and the Peroxide/Vinegar mix for the disenfecting?

    Question
I'm pretty sure Virosan does both. Hopefully someone else can confirm that.

Well seeing as the hydrogen peroxide/ vinegar spray bottle thingies are cheaper and I can just run to the store to get them, I'll grab them now and order some Virosan tonight ^_^

    Thanks smynx

    Oh two other questions ^_^

I got my Peroxide and Vinegar bottles all ready, and the website that had the info on that said to use 1 right after the other, I'm wondering if that means spray one, wipe it off, spray the other, wipe it off, or spray one, spray the other and wipe both off?

And after I use them do I have to wipe the things off with damp paper towel or something to get rid of the vinegar smell?

Spray one. Spray the other. Then wipe. Give it a little time to dry thoroughly before putting your snake in there.
