    First Shed
I recently bought a young ball python a couple weeks ago and am experiencing my snake's shed as a new owner. I'm sure considering the size of my snake (Basil) that he has shed before however it's a first time for me. 2-3 days ago his eyes gave up the cloudy blue tint and are once again black and since yesterday his scales have started actually peeling off, more so on the bottom rather than the top which makes sense considering all the moving around he does even when shedding. I was simply wondering whether or not to assist Basil with his shed in order to just get it over with so he will have a nice, healthy new display of scales or to simply let nature run its course and see if he requires help later on.

Pics? I think what you're describing is just normal shedding, but it's hard to say without seeing what you're seeing.
