Sold as a Yellow Belly - Is it?
This snake was listed on Craigs list as a yellow belly. The young man had a receipt from a well known, reputable dealer. I’ve taken a few photos – please tell me what you think....

I didn't take a photo of the receipt, but I did SEE it and it said 0.1 YB Ball Python.
I've purchased 6+ snakes from the same dealer and I recognized the receipt as being legitimate. It’s not something the guy could have make up.
I’m just not seeing the YB in this snake. I have two others and there’s no question, but I’ve seen some YB’s (adults) that I thought looked pretty normal. But I’m no expert – for sure! I’m just wondering if this may just be a REALLY poor looking YB.
The guy sold this with another YB as a pair. The other snake was obviously a YB. I really wanted the other one, so I purchased them both. It was a good deal, regardless. I’ll have fun proving it out in any case.

It could be but the belly is throwing me off. It's not quite the traditional belly of one but it does have some traits. I had a YB male that produced babies with a very obvious belly pattern, but he also produced some with a less obvious patten that were still yellow bellies.
With that one I'd hesitate to say yes for sure without breeding it.
Post full body pics and try to get it to coil up, then quickly flip it over with your camera ready and get some more complete belly shots.
