    Weights/Progression
Just wondering about the progression of some peoples ball pythons.

I have 0.2 females born sept 2nd/2011 so they are coming up on 2 years this september. Both are hovering around the 600-650 gram mark.
I've been keeping snakes for 8 years now, I don't remember my first few ball pythons growing so slowly.

Im starting to think the rats I'm getting are sub par or something.

    Weights/Progression
I don't have updated weights but i have two females born within the same month that i go from a breeder. My lesser is at about 400g and my hypo is at 700-800g. They both eat most weeks, they just don't maintain weight the same.

EDIT: they will all grow differently though, its not uncommon imo. They also all won't be the same size as babies or adults. Just like humans lol.

    Re: Weights/Progression
I only have one BP - a male pastel. He eats regularly on live mice (every 7 days).
At 11 months (hatched June 2012), he's pushing 870 grams.

I didn't realize it until now, but I guess he may be on the bigger side. Huh.

Jeeze, I guess my girl is a monster. I got her Sept 2011, I didn't get an official age when I bought her but by my guess she couldn't have been more than 3-4 months. As of weighing her today, she's at 1,340g (this isn't her 'empty' weight though).

I've been feeding her appropriate-sized meals every week, but I breed my own rats (which are fed a standard lab block), so maybe food quality has been playing a role... or she's just a beast xD She's almost never refused a meal, her feeding response is fantastic. I'd been wondering if her rate of growth was normal, it seems she's on the large end of things.
