So yesterday I got a August(Sept.?) 2012 genetic stripe. Some of you may know this if you read my last thread. Right now it is in a 20 gallon with improvised hides on both sides (Cardboard box and a rigged woven basket). The warm hide has a heat pad under it. I have a white lamp on top. Its in a glass enclosure with a screen lid. Heat is being measured by a digital thermometer w/ probe. Probe is about in the middle of the cage. I know I need to get a thermostat for the heat pad, but basically I just need some recommendations on good/cheap hygrometers/thermometers. Also I need some tips on how to control the humidity and heat in the enclosures. The enclosures are in a sun room, so I am partly relying on natural heat from it getting in back there. I need some suggestions and tips please!
