    Possible new ball
I found a person wanting to rehome a 6 year old female normal, I have been wanting to get a female, the owner has been the only owner, she eats a medium rat every two weeks, snake comes with a 30 gallon tank, two hides and water dish, $100 rehoming fee, which I'm fine with, the gentlemen said he has had no issues with her, I'll probably go check her out tomorrow, if all is good and the snake is healthy I really think I might get her, I'm just kinda on the fence......any opinions?

Is there any heat included? I guess it's not bad for the entire set-up if it really is a female. Breeder age females are always a good thing.

If she's healthy and you like her, I don't see why it would be a bad idea.

She comes with a lamp, that's one thing that kinda bugs me....not saying it isn't possible to get a good heat grid, but I know uth is the way to go, but if it's in good health it would be a good deal, cage and all is a plus, and it would bump me up in my five year plan at least as far as my collection and future projects go.......I want to, I have the cash, the time, and the space, but for some reason I just can't decide, of course seeing her in person will probably tug the old heart strings but still, sorry for the rant, I'm posting my thoughts, thanks to those who answered by the way!

Just please quarantine her away from any other herps for 2-3 months min. You want to be sure she's healthy if you get her.

If you know how to pop or probe or have a buddy who can bring him with. Cl pick ups you wanna check before you buy, I bought what was supposed to be four sexed females. I only got three one was a male they just guessed was a girl, 3/4 being female isn't bad but I wouldn't have gotten the male if I popped before hand.

Just make sure "she" is a she and that all is good.
Belly heat is nice but not needed ;)
Just like the 88-95 degrees is not a must either, just remember if she is kept at cooler temps to set her up the exact same way and the gradually raise temps to what you would normally keep her at.

    not a bad deal.

6 years is not a high age for BPs, still breeding age, still two thirds of the life expectancy to go.

With the equipment that comes with it, 100 wouldnt be a bad deal even if it turns out to be a male. For a female, its a good deal. As long as everything is fine when it comes to health, i see no reason to not do it.

Ok, so I went and saw the girl, very pretty snake, very tame, not head shy, HEAVY!! Compared to my male! Lol, she seems in very good health, the 30 gal has a crack running down the bottom, but it's holding and seems very sound, , anywas, I ended up getting her, she is awesome, the guy didn't name her, so her name is now Samantha! She'll be in quarantine for the next 3-6 months, but I'm very glad I looked thro Craigslist and found this sweet baby!! I'm rambling, but she weighs out at 3,100 grams! I'm very happy!!
