I gave all my snakes a bath last night for the first time, and they seemed to enjoy it Do y'all let your balls swim in the bath tub often and is it OK to do with gravid females? Its kind of late to ask but.

I try to leave my gravid girls alone as much as possible. It probably won't do any harm to soak them, but I just want to minimize stress while they are gravid, so I don't really handle them.

No since they aren't aquatic. What makes you think they were enjoying it and not just trying to get out/not drown? Were they having splash fights?

I bet they were! Don't challenge a snake to a game of splash splash! They don't play fair it's a trap!

I don't let my balls in the tub :) they have shoebox tubs as water bowls in their tubs tho. I find them soaking normally leading into sheds an my little girl likes to take poops in her dish. My little spider girl looks like she's swimming in place some times, she's actually swaying trying to line up a shot tho lol

I gave mine a soak the other night. she just lays there and chills. she even went underwater too. I was really hoping she would take a dump but she didn't...until right when I put her back in her tank. snake farts are awesome.

Nope, I use to but its not needed as long as their water bowl is a good fit for them.

I wouldn't bathe them in the bath tub vov I have a storage container that I use to feed/bathe them in, this way I know that no harsh chemicals are put in it and it's easier to clean out before feeding/bathing
