1st Post : Metaphorically Pipping the Egg
Just wanted to check in and say hello. I've been lurking and using the SEARCH FEATURE for some time now.
I'd like to think I'm past the following regurgitated threads: the importance of regulated heat sources, why won't my new bp eat, and my personal favorite... "is this a normal or something else" threads :D
My first ball python purchase was a 12' Mojave male that I aquired at the November White Plains expo. He was originally purchased as a pet and at the time I had myself CONVINCED that I wouldn't be interested in any future aquisitions or breeding plans  That has since changed and I have my first female arriving Wednesday...
Alas, pictures!
Disclaimer: 1st attempt at posting pics, I've read the posting photo sticky, using photobucket, here goes nothing...

Re: 1st Post : Metaphorically Pipping the Egg
Light visibile to my snake stays off 99.9% of the time. The only time it's on is if I have company over and they want to see whats in the tank. This set-up is temporary as I plan on switching to a rack in the near future and using the tank as QT for future aquisitions ;)
